Cast iron cubic masses

Cast iron cubic mass standards may only be used in commerce in Belgium with the approval of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (Royal Decree of 9 September 1975 on non-automatic weighing instruments).

Certified mass standards with model approval certificate

We have the following model approval certificates, issued by the Belgian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Administration of Quality and Safety:

  • model approval certificate no. 148002-B-96 for mass standards of 100 and 200 kg
  • model approval certificate no. 148001-B-94 for mass standards of 500 and 1000 kg

Clasal is also certified to carry out periodic calibration of your cast iron cubic mass standards.

Due to their construction, our cast iron cubic mass standards can easily be handled and transported using a forklift truck or a crane. At the customers' request, we can manufacture custom-made cast iron cubic mass standards to their specification.
